Payment and Class Policies
Small Group
Classes
For group classes payment is due before the series
of classes begin. Missed classes can
be made up with the instructor by paying $35.00 for a one hour make up
session. Please see your instructor for available time slots. No
monetary credit is given for the missed class.
Private Lessons
For private lessons, all absences by the student, that are not cancelled three
days in advance of the next scheduled class, will be charged the hourly rate of
$35.00. The hourly rate for private lessons is $35.00 if you meet at our facility or via Skype.
If a student misses two private lessons in a row without
notifying the instructor he/she will be dropped from the schedule and their time
slot forfeited.
If an absence is expected the week that payment is due, the payment is due
the week before the absence. Please continue to make payments on
time.
Private lesson payments for the following month are due before
the first lesson of every month. You will pay one month in advance for the
number of reserved lessons for a given month. The instructor will not be
able to teach the student until payment has been made.

Our Class Structure
Thematic and
Grammar
Tesoriero & Associates organizes
classes using a combination of thematic instruction coupled with grammar
instruction. In this fashion students gain the ability to speak
professionally, via grammar, while developing extensive vocabulary based on
themes.
Group classes consist of six, ninety minute classes over a six
week time frame. Each successive class will follow the previous class
sequentially. The vocabulary learned in one class will be reinforced and used
in the following class. The same is true for grammar topics that will develop
sequentially.
Each class will develop one or two grammar themes that are
woven into the curriculum. The majority of time is spent on extensive
vocabulary development, as our goal is to develop as much detailed vocabulary as
possible around a given theme.
